On June 23rd, 2026, Dr. Heidi Keeler PhD, MSN/MBA, RN presented a poster at the National Forum of State of Nursing Workforce Centers annual conference in Minneapolis, MN representing the state of Nebraska. The title of the poster presentation was “Precepting and Policy: What MCIRN Learned from its Stakeholders.” In attendance were nurses and healthcare leaders. The poster presentation explored the MCIRN HRSA grant project goals and reviewed the previous landmark work completed in preceptorship. Dr. Keeler shared the significant outcomes from the qualitative and quantitative data that was collected through a regional needs assessment and community of practice focus groups. The poster provided the audience with a summary of findings and solutions to be considered by healthcare leaders and policy makers.
